When we first decided we wanted a few cattle, we knew we wanted something cool. We wanted something that we liked to look at and that were easy to care for and hardy. The Texas Longhorns fit the criteria. Here they are.

Snowflake is a purebred Texas Longhorn. Her sire was our bull Joker. Her dam is Cheyenne. Her parents came from Bill Mummert of Cross M Ranch in Pennsylvania. She looks just like her dam. She has had some nice calves for us. She is four years old. She should be bred to our Watusi bull. Her price is $550.00.
We have four purebred Texas Longhorn cows/heifers at this time. Cheyenne and two daughters, Snowflake and Tornado Allie, and a BIG white cow named "Twisted Sister".

TWISTED SISTER
We purchased this cow from some people in Kentucky. She is AWESOME and BIG. She will throw some big calves for us. She is about six years old and has big beautiful calves. The Watusi bull is chasing her now (04-04-09). So she sells exposed to the bull. Her price is $750.00.
