Texas Longhorns came first.

When we first decided we wanted a few cattle, we knew we wanted something cool. We wanted something that we liked to look at and that were easy to care for and hardy. The Texas Longhorns fit the criteria. Here they are.


"JOKER"

"Joker Bonecrusher Jacobs"

We purchased "Joker" from Bill Mummert of Cross M Ranch, Spring Grove, Pennsylvania. He is sired by a bull named "Hot Iron" and out of a cow named "Reota". He was born March 20, 2001. Joker was sold on September 1, 2007 because we have kept a few of his daughters and had purchased two Watusi bulls.

We have four purebred Texas Longhorn cows/heifers at this time. Cheyenne and two daughters, Snowflake and Tornado Allie, and a BIG white cow named "Twisted Sister".

This is "Cheyenne".

We bought "Cheyenne" from Bill Mummert of Cross M Ranch in Spring Grove, Pennsylvania too. She has a nice disposition and is a great mother.


TWISTED SISTER

We purchased this cow from some people in Kentucky. She is AWESOME and BIG. She will throw some big calves for us.
