Hawk Shadow Farm Exotic Cattle

Home Page | Texas Longhorns | Brahma Cattle | Our Buffalo |  BUFFALO Page 2 | Cattle For Sale!!!

Welcome to Hawk Shadow Farm.

NEWS FLASH!!!!

We have decided to sell the whole herd of cattle. We will miss them greatly and hope that they go to great homes. We have decided till our son Cody gets bigger to just stick with our Boer goats. Who knows what we might get down the road, but right now all our cattle are for sale.

All cattle are priced on the website. We may give discount for multiple animal purchases. We have the right to refuse any offer, but no unreasonable offer will be refused. Pleas feel free to contact us if you have any questions. You can reach us at 417-349-0241 or 417-746-4970.

We originally moved to Missouri from Pennsylvania to raise Boer Goats. We still do. The goats are our main focus on the farm, BUT we love unique looking cattle, so here we are. We have Texas Longhorns, Scotch Highland Cattle, Brahmas, and a Buffalo. We use a Texas Longhorn bull on them to breed. We have the most beautiful calves born. If you like color and uniqueness and a meaty crossbred with hybrid vigor, then you'll like these calves. Feel free to visit this site often and see what's new at Hawk Shadow Farm.

More information about Hawk Shadow Farm.

Hawk Shadow Farm is 116 acres located in Macomb, Missouri. We are about 50 miles East of Springfield, MO, 3 hours from St. Louis, 3 hours from Sedalia, and about 5 hours from Kansas City, MO. We love our farm and our animals and hope you will enjoy this web site. We raise Registered Fullblood, Purebred, & percentage Boer Goats, AKC Boxers and our cattle. Feel free to check out our other two web sites.

Our neighbors think we're nuts!

"Why do you want those horned animals?", they ask. We love the way they look. We get them young and keep them tame. They come when called and if they see the feed bucket, they come a runnin'. We don't want cattle that won't come when called or that jump fences and get out. we can walk in with our bull and scratch him on the head. The cows are all good about letting us near the calves. They trust us and we trust them to an extent. We are always careful of an accidental swing of the horns at flies or another animal that might get more attention. We usually stay out of horns reach. We respect them and they respect us. Thanks for visiting. You'll meet the herd in the next few pages.

Brian and "India Pearl"(Black Brahma)

Brian

Brian is the head man of the cattle. I (Melissa) love my goats, and I love the cattle too, but Brian was the one that got the cow thing started. He started out with some Texas Longhorns. Then he got some Scotch Highland Cattle. Then the first Brahma (India Pearl) came and a buffalo. We just keep adding to the herd. You'll meet them all on pages to come and learn their personalities, tricks, and some very interesting things about how unique they really are. We'll have calves to sell in the fall and we had no trouble selling any of our past calves that were born here. Keep checking back for updates on the herd.

Thanks for visiting!! By the way, I'm Melissa, and I get to make up these pages. Sometimes we get so busy with farm work it takes me a little to get things caught up. Keep checking back. I'm going to link all three sites together to make things easier for ya'll.
