I guess Joker really liked Cherokee alot, because on September 12, 2007, Dakota was born. We went out to feed and there was Cherokee with the new arrival all dried off and clean as a whistle. He is the prettiest buffalo I have ever seen.

Well I guess she likes "normal" bulls, because Dakota's sire is our Texas Longhorn bull, Joker. We can't wait to see what he looks like when he grows up. Right now he looks like he'll be more like a buffalo/bison. A spotted one at that!!

At this point we aren't sure if he is for sale or not. We have a few people interested in him, but we won't make any decisions for at least another 6 months. In the meantime we'll keep you updated on his growth and progress, and pictures. My question is: What will his horns look like???
